I have been privileged to have been involved with the Seva School project from its inception. I am passionate about the school, its vision and our commitment to deliver excellent educational experience. I have a wide ranging experience in private sector and look to bring best practice and industry experience to my role as a Chair of Trustees.

My background is in education as a youth and community worker, teacher and headteacher. Having trained in Sheffield and Newcastle, the majority of my career was in Leicestershire as a community college principal, in and around Coalville. I also served as an executive headteacher of a pupil referral unit to help it to improve from its special measures category. I am driven by a commitment for the best education for all pupils. I have a particular interest in the power of the creative / expressive elements of the curriculum (especially sport) and the outcomes for vulnerable youngsters. Education transforms lives and it is a privilege to help in the process. I admire the dedication of the Trustees at Seva School in their pursuit of excellence and look forward to seeing the school thrive. I enjoy life through sport and the outdoors and with my children and grandchildren. I am also a Trustee at a community centre in Leicester where I live.

Over the last decade I have contributed to a variety of roles to establish the school, build strong foundations, deliver the capital refurbishment of the full site, and now drive forward the phenomenal success of Seva School.
