I’d like to extend a very warm welcome to Seva School’s website and thank you for taking an interest in what I commonly refer to as “the best kept secret in Coventry!”
We are very proud to be Coventry’s only Sikh faith school, passionately determined to ensure all our students receive an outstanding academic education, coupled with a strong spiritual development.
It is of prime importance to the governors and I to stress that Seva is a school for all; we welcome all young people, irrespective of their faith, their race, their gender, their prior attainment or any specific need. In sending your child to a Sikh faith school, you are signing your child up to learn (and experience) selfless service to others, humility, honesty, compassion, integrity, generosity……and hard work! For young people who do follow the Sikh religion, at Seva you will be able to participate in daily worship, celebrate key festivals and holy days and visit our Diwan Hall. You will be given multiple opportunities to put your faith into action and practise “truthful living”.
Seva is an all through school, serving children in the Coventry community and beyond, from reception class all the way through to year 11. We are a small school, perfect for those seeking a personalised provision, where our team of talented staff know our students in depth and go “the extra mile” on a daily basis to ensure they reach their true potential.
Our website is a great place to start to learn more about Seva, but nothing can compare to seeing our superb school in action. Visits are encouraged; you will always receive a very warm welcome from our wonderful team, but be warned: once the Seva bug strikes – there’s no going back!
We look forward to meeting you,
Jo Donnellan | Principal
We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, offering both traditional and creative subjects and are rightly proud of our enrichment programme, which encompasses after school clubs, residentials, trips and guest speakers.
